The Mpigi – Busege  Express highway with a nearing deadline seems to be at headlock with owners of a tree in Mpigi refusing to receive the 150 Million shillings for compensation by UNRA.

The minister for works addressed parliament on the matter where he communicated that the owners of the tree refuse that it be moved since it houses their ancestral spirits.

The owners of the tree told UNRA that they should compensate them with 500 million shillings as then the spirits will be appeased unlike the 150 million shillings that doesn’t appease the spirts.
