A team of lawyers led by Kampala Lord Mayor Elias Lukwago have challenged Zaake’s removal from parliament commission.

The lawyers representing the Mityana Municipality MP filed a case challenging his dismissal from parliament commission.

The lawyers filed a constitutional petition seeking an order of court annulling parliament ‘s passed censure.

Hon. Francis Zaake was on Thursday 10th successfully censured from parliament commission by a vote count of 155 MPs for his censure, 4 against and 2 invalid votes for his tweets that were said to attack the Deputy Speaker-Anita Among and her authority as Deputy speaker.
