Anita Among , Speaker of the 11th Parliament has been rumored to reject her new office over disturbing memories of the death of the Late speaker Jacob Oulanyah.

Jacob Oulanyah died on 20th March at the University of Washington Medical Centre 9 months into the job.

It is said that Among is asking her staff and Tayebwa to take on the 6th floor of the Speaker offices as she retains her former deputy speaker offices on 5th floor which would be for Tayebwa, her deputy now.

Anita Among and Teyebwa were elected speaker and deputy speaker of the 11th parliament respectively on the 25th of March,2022 after the death of the then speaker Jacob Oulanyah.
