The 21 year old Jacob Kiplimo won the men’s 5000m final on day nine of the common wealth games in Birmingham, central England on 6th, August, 2022. “It is a wonderful performance for me, I have two gold medals and i am happy”, Kiplimo

The gold medalist is a Ugandan long distance runner who competes in track running events. In the Athletics event at the Alexander stadium, Kiplimo won in style amidst his Kenyan counter part causing the commentator at the games to strongly state, “Uganda is a special country.”
