The last four Ebola patients in Mubende including 3 women, a one year old boy have been discharged from the Mubende Ebola Treatment Unit.

Mubende Ebola Treatment Unit had a total of 111 patients, 62 recoveries, 49 deaths. The last four patients received their discharge letters on Wednesday evening.

This comes as great success for the country and especially Mubende as a region. Mubende and Kassada were put under lockdown at the early stages of the Ebola outbreak in the wake to curb its further spread.
