Bishop Okabe who died with wife in a car accident along Mbale -Tirinyi road on Saturday last week has had numerous Legislators from Teso region call voters to vote Okabe’s family member for father’s replacement.

Deputy Speaker of parliament during the mourning of the deceased presented Okabe’s son- Emmanuel Okabe as replacement for the father. MP Kasilo county -Elijah Okupa will be remembered as first to raise the matter when parliament first paid tribute to Hon. Okabe.

When given an opportunity to speak, Emmanuel Okabe- one of the deceased’s sons said that he was willing to take forward his father’s legacy amidst an applauding crowd.
