A minor in Namugongo has been reported dead after she fell off the 2nd floor balcony of Sagala Apartment. Sagala apartments are located at forest lane in Nsawo community, Wakiso district. The minor is a three year old female identified as Kayaga Alyan.

Mr. Robert Opolot, a private security guard at the apartments said that Kayaga was riding a bicycle on the balcony. Her uncle, who was the only adult at home was inside the house.

“I was in my room near the gate and I heard a big sound, when I came out Alyan was down bleeding, we tried to take her to a hospital but she died on her way,”- He added.
Kayaga’s body was thereafter taken to the City Mortuary at Mulago hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Mr Opolot said Kayaga’s body was taken to Hoima District for burial yesterday.

The deceased was in baby class.
