One woman has been reported dead in a car accident after two taxis got involved in Kooga, in Sheema district. The deceased has been identified as Olivia Ahikire, 27 years old and a resident of Sheema District. She is said to have died on spot.

The injured were identified as as Kabula Musumba Zewadi, 47, a resident of Kasese, Adam Niwamanya, 41, a resident of Bushenyi, Deus Isingoma, 36, a resident of Mbarara, Anolity Kamote, 40, and Kirembeka Javiila, 49, from Nalukolongo-Kampala and Lastus Akatwijuka, 31, from Rukungiri District.

Mr. Marcial Tumusiime – the Greater Bushenyi Police spokesperson confirmed the car accident which happened on Mbarara-Kasese highway in Sheema District.
