Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, known as Neymar Júnior is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germaine and the Brazil national team.

The 31 year old Brazilian star has been reported to agree to a two year contract with an Arabian Club, Al- Hilal. His former club PSG ( Paris Saint Germaine) a French cub a greed to sell him to this Saudi Pro league for a rumored 160m Euros totaling to $175m.

The talented forward joined PSG in 2017 for a world record fee of 200m Euros making his the most expensive transfer at the time.

Neymar has from March, 2023 suffered injuries and underwent reconstructive ankle ligament surgery.

There is however a genuine concern among the European clubs about the transfer of European club top players to Saudi Arabia. Neymar’s transfer to Al-Hilal comes a few months after that of Christiano Ronaldo to Al-Nasser, an Arabian club in January, 2023.
