Uganda Cranes is set to play an AFCON qualifier today at 10:00pm, a match that has been labelled as ‘a must -win’ to suggest that in order to qualify for AFCON 2024, Uganda Cranes has to win this match or forget AFCON again this season.

The Uganda National Football team which will be playing against Niger Taifa Stars must win this match to lighten their chances to qualify. Uganda sit third in group F with just four points from the five games they have played. Uganda needs to play for maximum points.

“As players, we are ready to put our bodies online in order to achieve the target which is qualification to AFCON in Ivory Coast next year”, Ibahim Owen Baba Kasule.

Uganda’s Uganda Cranes last participated in AFCON in 2017 and 2019 – back to back.
