Uganda has included Basketball players of American descent in both its senior men and women’s teams. This as selectors try to address the lack of inside presence ahead of the start of the regional qualifiers for the inaugural FIBA AfroCan tournament. Now the tournament is slated to run from June 26 to July 1 at Lugogo Arena. The likes of  Burundi, Egypt, Rwanda, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, Eritrea and Ethiopia are expected to feature in the qualifying event.
