The opening legs of the 2025 Buganda Masaza Cup quarter finals were played on Sunday, 28th September at four different venues in the Buganda Kingdom.

A total of six goals scored in four matches were Kyaggwe, Buweekula, and Bugerere register victories while Mawokota stun Ssingo.

The 2024 masaza cup Runners up Kyaggwe ensured they stayed on the right course to go back to the finals with an emphatic win against the Islander’s Ssese .

Kyaggwe got a first leg advantage in the quarterfinals of this year’s Buganda Masaza Cup with a 2-0 home win to Ssese in the game played at Bishop SS playground in mukuno on this Sunday evening .

Mugalu David break dreadlocks in 19th minutes of the game while James innocent seal the victory in the 88th minutes to help Kyaggwe secure maximum points ahead of the return leg.

Buweekula earned a 1-0 away win against Busujju in the game played at Kakaindu play ground in Busujju.

The 2025 masaza cup top scorer Jimmy Kalema rose to the occasion to score the all-important goal for Flex Ssekabunza’s Side .

In the highly anticipated tense game at Buwuma community ground the three times champions Mawokota hold the times champions Ssingo in goaless draw.

The second leg of the quarter finals will be played on Sunday 5th October at various play ground across Buganda.

On other entertainment quarter finals match Bugerere comfortably awon 2-1 against Buluuli at Ntejeru Ssaza playground thanks to Mike Katumwa and Osman Mayanja scored for bugerere while Okello Levis Barasaa scored Consolation for visitors Buluuli.
