Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the Chief of Defence Forces, paid a courtesy visit to Rwot David Onen Acana II, the Paramount Chief of Acholi, at his palace in Gulu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The visit, which saw Gen. Kainerugaba accompanied by senior military commanders, marked a crucial step in strengthening the bond between the Uganda People&#8217;s Defence Forces (UPDF) and the Acholi cultural institution. The discussions centered on collaborative efforts to drive development in Acholi land, with both leaders expressing commitment to work together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rwot Acana praised the UPDF for its pivotal role in maintaining stability in the region, while Gen. Kainerugaba reaffirmed the military&#8217;s dedication to protecting civilians and supporting government programs in Northern Uganda.
