Her life story is a compelling journey of love, heartbreak, death, and resurrection—literally. Click the link below and be blessed by this extraordinary story of faith and divine restoration:

Marriage and New Beginnings

I got married at the age of 21. Though my husband came for Kukyala (traditional marriage visit), I carried deep insecurities from past heartbreaks. Despite my emotional wounds, my husband was patient and transparent—he too had been heartbroken. We started our relationship by building a genuine friendship.

However, my first week of marriage was challenging. I was used to the independence of single life—doing whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. Suddenly, I found myself adjusting to new responsibilities: cooking, cleaning, washing clothes, and making juice for my husband. He had high expectations, and I wasn’t used to such demands. The reality overwhelmed me so much that I locked myself in the storeroom and cried, realizing I was now married to a pastor.

The Day I Died

Have you ever wondered what it feels like to die—and then return to life?

In Part 2 of the Obujulizi show, I share how I died and experienced the spiritual realm before God resurrected me.

It began when I generously welcomed someone into my home, only to be poisoned by the very person I helped. She served me tea laced with poison. It started with a severe headache, one that lingered painfully. I reached a point where I cried out to God, saying, “Just take me—better to die than to fall into sin.”

Then, I left my body.

My spirit began to move. I saw people crying and calling my name, but I couldn’t respond—I was no longer in my body. I witnessed shocking things: people I knew who never wished me well, including individuals from church. I saw some who had fasted and prayed—not for my healing, but for my death. It was devastating.

Where I was in the spirit was peaceful, beautiful, and full of serenity. I didn’t want to return. But somehow, I did.

When I came back to life, I cried—not out of joy, but sorrow. I had returned to a world full of pain, betrayal, and hardship.

The Pastor’s Wife Under Fire

Can you imagine being a pastor’s wife—and being attacked by the very people you serve?

Despite my position, church members constantly reported me to my husband, often over false accusations. One woman in particular lied to him, trying to damage our marriage. The pressure was intense, and some even demanded that I leave the church entirely. I was accused of pulling the ministry down and even of bewitching it.

But I stood firm.

I continued with my duties as a pastor’s wife. I greeted everyone with a genuine smile—even those who despised me. I relied on the Holy Spirit and refused to hold on to bitterness. I prayed with fellow believers who stood by me, and even when my husband asked me to stop praying with them, I pressed on. I had developed a spiritual resilience—a thick skin—and through our prayers, God began revealing that He was delivering even my husband.

A Final Word

Pastor Peace Ann Mwesigwa’s testimony is one of perseverance, divine encounter, and unwavering faith. From the edge of death to spiritual warfare in ministry and marriage, she remains a living testimony of God’s power to restore, protect, and elevate.

Let her story inspire you. No matter the opposition, stand firm in your calling.
