The 2025 Buganda Masaza Cup semi-final cast is now complete, with Kyaggwe, Bugerere, Buweekula, and Ssingo marching into the last four after a thrilling weekend of quarter-final return leg duels across Buganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All four sides showcased resilience and tactical discipline to fend off spirited opponents and book their semi-final berths in Uganda\u2019s most prestigious cultural football competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Migyeera, Bugerere held their nerve to force a 1\u20131 draw against Buluuli, sealing progression with a 3\u20132 aggregate victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Isaac Ruguruka Musuga was on target for Bugerere, while Patrick Odie\u2019s strike for Buluuli was merely a consolation after Bugerere\u2019s 2\u20131 first-leg triumph.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, in Mityana, Ssingo edged Mawokota 1\u20130 thanks to an own goal from Mike Kasule, who was pressured into a mistake by forward Shaban Kayongo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The narrow win was enough to send the 2015 champions through 1\u20130 on aggregate, after the first leg ended goalless in Buwama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over in Mubende, Buweekula and Busujju battled to a pulsating 1\u20131 draw. Alex Taremwa opened the scoring for the home side before Lauben Lubwama leveled matters for Busujju.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Buweekula\u2019s earlier 1\u20130 away victory proved decisive, giving them a 2\u20131 aggregate advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Lake Victoria Islands, Kyaggwe, last year\u2019s runners-up continued their impressive run, drawing 1\u20131 with Ssese at Lutoboka playground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Muhammad Sabil handed Ssese an early lead, but the ever-reliable David Mugalu struck back to ensure Kyaggwe progressed 3\u20131 on aggregate, building on their 2\u20130 first-leg win in Mukono.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both first legs will take place on 18th October 2025, with the decisive return ties scheduled a week later on 25th October 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
