People have begun evacuating the village,<\/em>\u201d said <strong>Ramli Srour<\/strong>, a local resident.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>According to local media reports, authorities have inspected several flood-prone areas, including <strong>Al Jreif West<\/strong> in Khartoum and the nearby villages of <strong>Al-Fakki Hashem, Al-Khalileh, Al-Abdallab, Wausi,<\/strong> and <strong>Wad Ramli<\/strong>. Civil defence units and local communities have been deployed to reinforce weak points along the riverbanks and protect residential zones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation<\/strong> confirmed on Tuesday that water levels in the Nile and its tributaries have risen sharply following days of heavy rainfall.
