This decision comes after extensive consultations with key stakeholders, including UPL clubs, league sponsors, and the Uganda Premier League Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Hon. While there has been some positivity surrounding the new format, the clubs and sponsors have expressed concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reverting to the Double-Round Robin Format<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following consultations with the clubs and sponsors, it has been agreed that the league will continue on a double-round robin format for the 2025\/2026 season. This decision is seen as a step back to a tried and tested format, which has been used in lower league competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have listened to the clubs, our sponsors, the general public, and the fans,\u201d Hon.
