FUFA Big League table leaders Blacks Power had a very long and tiresome trip back to Lira after losing 1-0 to Bunyaruguru in Kasese on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Nyamambuka playground, Gerald Ogweti scored the only goal of the game in the first half, and his 36th minute strike is all the hosts needed to retain all the three points at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bunyaruguru recorded their fourth win of the campaign as Blacks Power suffered their second loss so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CATDA Fight Back To Remain Unbeaten<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CATDA scored a late equaliser at Hamz Stadium Nakivubo to force a 3-3 draw with Wakiso Giants and keep their unbeaten run intact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Annest Ankunda scored first for Wakiso Giants, but Tevin Kyeyune equalised for CATDA. Musa Segujja Bambata scored against for the hosts to go into the halftime break with a 2-1 lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On returning for the second half, Wakiso Giants got another goal to get infront once again. The Purple Sharks defended their lead until the 90th minute, but couldn\u2019t hold on longer than the fifth minute of stoppage time when they painfully conceded that very late goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fred Okot scored direct from a free-kick to draw the game level at the death, and salvage a point on the road from the newly promoted Big League side that has still remained the only unbeaten team after ten matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite losing, Blacks Power still lead the 16-team table with 22 points, followed by Kigezi HomeBoyz (19), Ntugasaze (17) and Iganga United (17) in second, third and fourth positions respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upto four other teams (all with 16 points) are also very close, and still in contention, including Bright Stars (5th), Wakiso Giants (6th), Kataka (7th) and CATDA (8th).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Relegation Battle<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the very bottom of the table with just seven points from 11 matches, Mbale Heroes are still the most favorite relegation candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Young Elephants (12), Onduparaka (11) and Kaaro Karungi (10) are also trapped in the relegation zone, occupying 13th, 14th and 15th positions respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
