In response, Iran\u2019s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced large-scale missile and drone strikes targeting Israel. Reports also indicate that U.S. military installations in several Gulf states have come under attack amid the escalation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beijing expressed deep concern over the conflict\u2019s spillover effects, stressing that the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Gulf nations must be respected. China also warned against instability in the Strait of Hormuz, describing it as a critical global energy and trade corridor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mao dismissed foreign media reports alleging that China was nearing a deal with Iran to purchase CM-302 supersonic anti-ship missiles, calling the claims \u201cuntrue\u201d and accusing unnamed parties of \u201cmalicious hype.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure the Iranian Red Crescent, more than 555 people have been killed since the outbreak of hostilities, with at least 131 cities affected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>China reiterated its call for restraint, urging all
