Hassan Galiwango, Uganda’s high commissioner to Kenya has passed on. He died in Nairobi hospital where he had been admitted.

Rebecca Kadaga – Uganda’s first Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of EAC confirmed the news on Monday. Dr. Hassan Galiwango was appointed to the position in October 2020 after the position’s former occupant aspired for a parliamentary seat back home.

Hon. Galiwango was the Husband of Ugandan Member of parliament, Connie Galiwango. Many eulogized him as a dedicated servant. Chris Obore referred to him as ‘a father’ and one of the greatest teachers of African History.
