The Penit award winner through his lawyer Eron Kiiza placed forward a request to court for passport release so he can travel abroad for further treatment, which was denied. Among other requests, was one that his case be moved to the high court which was equally denied.
Kakwenza Rukirabashaija was accused of “offensive communication” which is against the Uganda’s Computer Misuse Act and his trial has been set to begin on 23 March.
