In the early hours of Thursday , Feb 24, 2022, president Putin of Russia announced war against Ukraine which he called “a special military operation against Ukraine”.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has been labelled as the biggest attack by one state against another in Europe since WW11  and today marks day two of Russia’s full scale military attack on Ukraine.

The world at large has however risen to protest against Russian invasion of Ukraine with thousands of protesters in St.Petersburg and numbers marching in Moscow, Russia chanting “No War”.

Amidst all these, over 100 civilians and military personnel have been reported dead so far.
