“Dead people have been found in barrels , basements , strangled, tortured” – Zelensky. The Ukrainian president called the sight “genocide and war crime.”

On April 2, Journalists and Ukrainian authorities report tones of dozens of dead civilians were discovered in the Ukrainian city of Bucha.

Bucha is a town of around 36,000 people in Northwest of Kyiv which awoke to loud cries after Russian troops were reported to leave the area.

It is believed that Russia committed these atrocities against civilians , a report which the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov dismissed as “stage managed anti -Russian provocation”.

Following these and much more happening in the Ukraine -Russian war – many western countries have reacted and still are with each development;

Lithuania put away its Russian ambassador and Germany reacted by expelling 40 Russian diplomats.

As the war grips the Ukrainians with fear, mothers uncertain when their turn comes are writing family contacts on their children’s bodies hoping when the worst comes, their children could at least survive.

Russia’s claims still stand that the killings happened after their troops had left the city.
