On Tuesday afternoon, a 22 year old woman identified as Nampiima Rose died in a taxi. She is said to have boarded a taxi from Kampala heading  to Ssembabule from the New Taxi Park by the help of her aunt.

Rose was not fine when her aunt -Josephine helped her board and asked the driver, Elly Mutumba to take her to Ssembabule.

The driver reports that Nampiima blacked out in Bukomansimba as the other passengers alerted him. On checking her, Nampiima was dead.

Elly proceeded to Ssembabule taxi park and reported the matter to the Ssembabule police station where the police have opened a file to investigate further on the matter.

On reaching Rose’s mother, she confirmed that she was aware of her daughter’s deteriorating health and had asked her aunt to send her home in Ssembabule.
