It was joyous ululations and jubilation as the long-lost royals from the diaspora set
their maiden feet on the land of Teso, welcomed by the reigning papa Emorimor Ssande Emorot.
At least seventeen (17) royals were on the 2nd of June 2023 welcomed to Teso by
his highness Papa Emorimor Iteso at Soroti Hotel in Soroti district as they were welcomed to explore the potentials in Uganda’s vast Agriculture and economic sector.
“The previous Emorimori Papa Osuban’s vision of starting a sugarcane plantation” said His highness Paul Sande Emolot , ‘will be revisited’, he requested the Caribbean royals and the CARICOM leaders present to support Teso and compliment what the government is already doing to support the Chiefdom.

Despite the previously ongoing rumors of inner power scuffles between the Iteso Cultural Union (ICU) led by Papa Emorimor Ssande Emolot of the Teso Chiefdom , and Ateker International Development Organization led by His highness Paul Jones Eganda, the global president of AIDO Network left the spectators dumbfounded when he went down on his knees and knelt before the current Emorimor as a sign of humility and servitude.
“I am here as a son of the soil, not as Emorimor of Iteso ” His Highness Paul Jones
Eganda said.
“Even though I am the leader of an umbrella that is embraced by over 600 kingdoms across the globe, I kneel down before you as a sign of respect I have for you and your leadership” he added. His Highness Papa Eganda, told ICU ministers who were obviously seen hostile and plotting against him, to get their house in order, otherwise AIDO will revisit the relationship between the two institutions.

Prof. Charles Okiria, the minister of Health in the ICU government, helped to quell the tensions when he explained the relationship between ICU and AIDO, clearly stating there is no conflict of interest between the two leaders.

AIDO Network International is a cultural and human rights umbrella, which has
been in existence since the year 2018.
The organization has since joined hands with different human rights activists and cultural institutions around the world to fight for Reparatory justice and preserve the African culture respectively.

On the 24th of May 2023 AIDO Network international held its 5th annual convention in Mombasa, Kenya where different human rights activists led by CARICOM international, a Caribbean Reparatory justice body and different cultural leaders from the diaspora signed a human rights declaration meant to pledge to the UN ( United nations) to observe a second decade for people of Africa descent, supporting them with the necessary resources to give full effect to the goals and objectives of recognition, Reparatory justice and development of the African people.
It was during the coronation event of the royalties from the diaspora on the 2nd of June 2023 that Iteso cultural Union (ICU) also launched the re-construction and refurbishment of Ateker clan’s registry bureau and kingdom secretariat.
