The former Barcelona forward took his excitement to social media where he openly celebrated the Atlas Lions on Quarter Finals. “History is made. The fourth African team to ever make it to the quarter finals. Bravo Morocco,” Eto’o said on Twitter.
Morocco reached the last eight making history as the forth African team to qualify to the world cup quarter finals. Morocco joins Ghana, Senegal and Cameroon on this history trail.
The Atlas Lions will now face Portugal who beat Switzerland 6-1.
