Uganda Cranes Receive 2.4 Billion Shillings Bonus .
President Yoweri Museveni has indeed released 2.4 billion Ugandan shillings (UGX) to the Uganda Cranes team as a reward for their wins over Guinea and Niger in the CHAN Tournament.

Uganda vs Guinea:Uganda won 3-0, with President Museveni promising 1.2 billion UGX per win.
Niger vs Uganda: Uganda won 2-0.

Total Reward: 2.4 billion UGX for two wins.
The Uganda Cranes team made history by advancing to the group stage for the first time under the stewardship of coaches Morley Byekwaso and Fred Muhumuza.
During the State CHAN 2024 Dinner in Entebbe yesterday, President Museveni said;
‘I promised and I am implementing, so I am fulfilling my pledge . Every time you win I would give 30 million each for 40 people on the contingent and I have already put the money on your account’
