The Masaza Cup 2025 final game will be played at the Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo, on Saturday, November 1st, 2025. The announcement was made today during a press briefing at Bulange, Mengo, by Owek. Robert Sserwanga, the Kingdom’s Sports Minister.
The tournament, which started in June this year, is now at the Quarter finals stage, with Kyaggwe, Ssingo, Buweekula, Mawokota, Buluuli, Bugerere, Ssese and Busujju counties making it to the final eight.
These teams will compete against each other in the Quarter final and Semi finals the winners will then face off in the final game of the tournament at Hamz stadium in November .
The move was confirmed after the previous masaza cup finals venue Mandela
National stadium will be under reconstruction at the time when the finals will be played on November 1st 2025 .
Speaking during the press conference Owek Ssalongo Robert expressed optimism about the new Venue, describing the decision as due to Mandela National stadium will be under renovation.
“This is a fresh chapter for us,” Owek Robert Serwanga said. “Ham Stadium is a world-class facility, and we believe it will positively impact to host this year’s Masaza cup finals.We are excited to give our fans a better football experience.”

The 2025 Masaza cup campaign is on quarter finals were Kyaggwe, Ssingo, Buweekula, Mawokota, Buluuli, Bugerere, Ssese and Busujju book thier spot.
The Quarter finals first leg will be played on Sunday 28th September 2025 and the second leg will be played on 5th October at various playground across Buganda.
The masaza cup is an annual Buganda Kingdom tournament that was inaugurated in 2004 .The tournament features teams from the 18 countries of Buganda.
