Joao will now don shirt 7 at KCCA FC with Ahimbisibwe taking over shirt 11
KCCA FC on Monday, 22nd September confirmed the shirt numbers and squad for the 2025/26 campaign.
The 13-time Uganda Premier League champions signed seven players in the concluded transfer window who are Charles Lukwago, Alpha Thierry Ssali, Ivan Ahimbisibwe, Rogers Mugisha, Lazaro Muhindo, Herbert Achayi and Enock Walusimbi.
Achayi has been handed shirt number 2 while goalkeeper Lukwago who is returning to the club will wear shirt 12.
Mustafa Mujuzi who joined new league entrants UPPC FC was the previous occupant of shirt 2 at KCCA FC.
Walusimbi will put on shirt 15 while shirt 14 previously worn by Bright Anukani has been handed to Mugisha.
Ssali will have shirt number 8 on his back while Ahimbisibwa has been assigned number 11 that hadJoao Esteves Cardoso Gabriel as the previous occupant.
Brazilian Joao Esteves Cardoso Gabriel has been allocated shirt 7 that was previously worn by former KCCA FC captain Julius Poloto who joined UPPC FC.
Muhindo who joined KCCA FC from Kitara FC has been handed shirt 27 previously donned by Usama Arafat who crossed to Vipers SC.
Under the stewardship of co-coaches Brian Ssenyondo and Jackson Magera, the Kasasiro Boys will be aiming to end their title drought in the forthcoming season. They will begin their campaign away to Kitara FC on Friday, 26th September.
